Contract & Consumer Issues
Contract law is the fundamental building block of all commercial relations. A contract is quite simply an agreement between two or more legal entities, which the law recognises and enforces. Not all agreements are enforceable - if your wife offers to take you to lunch and doesn't turn up you are unlikely to be able to sue her, but if you book a caterer for a wedding and they fail to appear you can probably claim damages for breach of contract.
Each day we all enter into contracts as consumers with various shops, banks, utility companies and of course each other. Sometimes contract terms are not adhered to and need to be enforced, or they are onerous and need to be altered or struck out.
At AGR we can advise you as to your rights in respect of contractual problems. Marc Turner will assess your matter whether the contract is written or not as many disputes arise from "verbal agreements".
