Paul Grimditch

Paul is a solicitor's clerk with over 20 years experience in family and matrimonial law, specialising in divorce; proceedings relating to children; financial settlement; resolving problems arising from the breakdown of cohabitational relationships (contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as a "common-law marriage"); assisting both privately-paying and legally-aided clients. Paul also handles conveyancing and the preparation of wills.

Paul was born and bred in Mansfield and, for his sins has held a season ticket at Field Mill for 35 years. He is married with two adult children, and enjoys walking, (a veteran of the Pennine Way with a badge to prove it!), cooking (and eating), gardening and reading.

Shirebrook has been undergoing (and is continuing to undergo) a major transformation during recent years, changing from a traditional East Midlands mining town to a thriving commercial centre now boasting the headquarters of one of (if not the) foremost sportswear and sports goods producers and suppliers in Europe.

The town is located conveniently on the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border and has easy access from Mansfield, Chesterfield and Worksop. Both the M1 and A1 are within easy distance for clients coming from further afield. Our office is situated in the main square in the town centre where there is ample free parking very nearby and we often find clients preferring to come to Shirebrook for this reason alone.

Our Shirebrook office has been in existence for almost a quarter of a century and mainly caters for clients in and around Shirebrook, Warsop, Mansfield Woodhouse, Langwith, Pleasley and other nearby towns and villages although we frequently deal with clients from all parts of the country and those overseas who have dealings in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire areas. Many clients continue to use our office for their legal work long after leaving the area.

Although we are a small office we can help with most common (and many not-so-common) legal problems including conveyancing (both freehold and leasehold), wills, probate, elderly client matters, divorce, family matters and commercial matters.
