Whether a driver, cyclist or pedestrian, we are all at risk on the road where safety depends as much on the decisions and behaviour of others as our own. Every year there are many thousands of road traffic accidents, some minor, but many serious or fatal.

What is compensation?
Compensation in the form of damages generally falls in to two categories; general damages for pain and suffering and special damages representing financial and other losses suffered as a result of the accident, including loss of earnings, medical and care costs and other out of pocket expenses. In cases of need it is sometimes possible to obtain some special damages as the case progresses.
